Dr. Shoffet and our team at Royal Dental Practice have made considerable investments in services for seniors and others with logistical, mobility, and more challenges to getting the care they need. Our mobile dentist service caters as much to seniors’ loved ones or family caregivers as it does to the senior patient. Children, grandchildren, and family members have found our services lifesaver! It’s not just nice; mobile dentistry eases the tremendous stress and burden of traveling to and from our office in the West Hills of Los Angeles, California.

Yes. That is what true mobile dental care is all about. We go to your loved one’s bedside or wherever it is most comfortable for them to receive care. Dr. Shoffet has considerable experience providing dentistry services this way, and she has invested in many technologies to support quality care on the go. These tools include our portable X-ray machine.
Can you travel from here to West Hills, Los Angeles, California?
Let’s talk! We have great flexibility and are willing and able to travel to many communities in our area, even if it’s a bit of a drive. For example, we often travel from Ventura to Torrance and from Malibu to Pasadena (or Santa Clarita).

What services can you provide at the bedside?
An easier question would be, “What services do you NOT provide at bedside?” It’s easier to answer because we can do many things with mobile dentistry. We provide many of the same preventative, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry treatments you can benefit from at our office. We only do it “on wheels” and in the most convenient and stress-free way possible from the comfort of home. You will no longer need to visit us every six months for cleanings or exams or arrange transportation when your denture breaks or a crown falls off. Limited fillings or extractions may also be considered based on individual needs. For orthodontic needs, only clear aligners (CandidPro) are available. The only exceptions to this rule for mobile dental care are:
- Oral surgery
- Complex extractions or tooth removal
- Intravenous/IV sedation
- Root canal therapy
- Crowns, bridges, implants, veneers, and other services are characterized as “major restorative.”
Can I afford mobile dentistry?
Many of our mobile dental patients and their families are surprised that these unique and beneficial services are far more affordable than alternatives such as medical/ambulance transport. Charges vary significantly based on the specific procedure, necessary diagnostics, and travel fees. We understand that you prioritize your health, and many families have found this service to be a worthwhile investment in their smiles and overall well-being, as oral health is truly the gateway to overall health. We aim to maintain it in top shape, no matter the challenges that aging may bring.
