It started with a cracked tooth that was bothering me. I had a cavity and wasn’t too sure about the outcome of this visit because I thought it would be a lot worse than it turned out to be.

But the doctor was good about discussing the best-case and worst-case scenarios, and lucky that we got the good-case scenario.

It was a good visit. I always fear the doctors and dental visits, it’s been an ongoing issue with me because I have a deviated septum, and it’s always hard to breathe through my nose when they tell you to breathe through your nose.

It’s an issue that I’ve had personally, that’s kept me away, but I’m glad for today’s visit, I got through it.

Dr Shoffet pulled out and I checked with her because that was the part that was wiggly, and I was crying but I just made up my mind and went back to the chair and she pulled it out. I am on the autism spectrum and I feel that people who come here for the first time who might have autism would really enjoy this dental office because Dr Shoffet is awesome. She is really kind and really understanding of people with different special needs. Normal people who come here don’t have special needs. I have had good visits here. I am not afraid of the dentist at all. You shouldn’t be afraid of going to the dentist. It’s important for your health and important for your teeth as you want to keep your teeth in your mouth and it is very important having a healthy mouth, healthy gums and healthy teeth. Hello my name is Malcolm. I’ve been a patient now of Dr Shoffet for 3 years. The final result is my dental implants. It began 3 years ago when I had very bad teeth, and I took a fall breaking one. Fortunately when we began to call around to someone who could see me immediately, we found Dr. Shoffet. We went from there to taking care of the damaged teeth eventually to a set of dentures and finally to the dental implants. And I would like to say that she has been a very conscientious and caring doctor. In particular I would like to mention one incident when one of the implants was temporarily glued in and had come loose when I was eating dinner. I called her while at dinner to say that I would be coming in the next day, and I got a call back even before I was able to leave the restaurant. So I would like to admit that she has given me the most excellent service I have had with any medical professional I’ve ever been to, and I am very, very satisfied with the results.

My name is Dr. Eugene Dorr, MD. I practiced orthopedic surgery for over 40 years. During the course of my lifetime I’ve had occasion to see many dentists, and I would say that Dr Shoffet is the best dentist I have ever seen. She is gentle, she’s kind, she’s personable, she knows how to do many many things that other dentists would send to some other specialist. So it seems that she is a general-purpose dentist that can do almost everything. If she can’t do it herself, she knows people that can do it. So I appreciate her. “Its been 20 years. I’ve had all my dental work done here, just about everything done – root canals, fillings, extractions, crowns, teeth cleaning – you name it and that’s been done here in the last 20 years by Dr Shoffet”

“Yes thank you! I have been a patient since 2003. Today I came in for a regular cleaning, which I do very religiously. I want to be sure that I take good care of my teeth, you know, that’s what’s gonna keep me in good stead as I get older. And I have had almost everything you can think of – I’ve done – and I’ve had a great experience throughout. Sometimes it’s been difficult, but it’s worth everything that you do to make sure your teeth are healthy. So I’ve had crowns, I’ve had root canals, I’ve had extractions, I’ve had implants, I’ve had just fillings, I’ve had gum procedures. It’s been since 2003, and I’m a continuing patient. So thank you Dr Shoffet for taking good care of me.”

Good Morning! I wanted you to share with everyone in regards to your experience here at our office at Royal Dental Practice, and if you don’t mind letting us know and everyone on your experience here in our office

“Yeah absolutely! I started off with a nervous call that I made, I called the 100 Dentist because I was having some experiences with my teeth, and I wasn’t really too proud of my teeth. Growing up it was kind of embarrassing because I had a lot of buildup on the bottom, and then it started getting bad. Whenever I brushed, my teeth started bleeding, and I was kind of embarrassed. So essentially I decided to make that call, and I was placed in the wonderful care of Christina, and you were able to get me started – took down my basic information, and gave me an appointment that same night. That Friday night, it was very scary for me because I’ve never been to a dentist before. Unfortunately I was neglecting that part of my normal hygiene that I should have taken precaution for, and I wasted a lot of insurance money because I wasn’t using it at all because I was so embarrassed and scared to step into this office. So essentially what I ended up doing is I made that call, that courageous call to my mind and to myself, and I got a place with Dr. Shoffet, and obviously the first day was just how I could have abused myself like that. And I agree because I shouldn’t have done that to myself. She was able to give me an appointment the following Tuesday. So only a couple more days and I got some scaling done. My teeth were in really bad condition, but luckily I made that call just in time before it actually did real damage to my bottom rows and I could have actually lost a lot of teeth. But here I am after some scaling process and this is me about a week later, and my teeth are completely healthy. And I’m able to wear my smile the way I should, and have the confidence going to work, especially since I have close interactions all the time with my employees, and also with the some clients, that I speak to and I am able to talk more confidently, and I’ve already seen a boost in my morale, boost in my teammates reaction with me, and I’m able to stand closer to get those better interactions every single day. I’m very proud of the work that she’s done and she’s worked very hard and diligently. I remember it was about a 2-3 hour process, and I’ve never seen anyone more patient, and also it just been an amazing experience here at this office.”
